Jean Aubert

Jean is the founding president of Blue Bug Entertainment, he is a seasoned producer and production manager specialized in CG animation. Throughout his career, he produced visual effects for American movies and several documentary series, oversaw the production of animated films and series, video games cinematic and many TV shows. Over the years, Jean has produced hundreds of minutes of animation and visual effects, cumulating more than 32 years of experience in CG production.

Trained in graphic design at the Old-Montreal College and in design at the University of Quebec in Montreal, he also has professional training in international coproduction with the National Institute of Image and Sound (INIS), in PMP at the Project Management Institute and in film and television production management at the HEC Montreal.

Starting an early career in the mid 80s as a computer artist, Jean is considered by his peers as one of the Montreal pioneers in computer graphics, he was honoured to be nominated at the 2004 EMMY AWARDS in the category of News and Documentary and received a double nomination at the 1998 Gemini Awards Gala, not to mention a second prize at IMAGES DU FUTUR in 1987 as well as many other prizes.

Jean is the main producer of the animated film “TROLL - the tale of a tail” and was one of the producers on the animated film “LEAP” (Ballerina) released in 2016. Over the years, Jean worked on many prestigious projects; he was VFX Producer on the Documentary Series “Extreme Engineering” for Discovery Channel International, production manager for the animated film « The Story of Abraham » as well as doing a remedial recovery on many productions like “PODCATS” a CG-animated TV series for France.

In 2014, Jean was senior producer and studio manager at UBISOFT/Cinematic Studio. During his mandate; Jean produced game cinematic and movie trailers for Prince of Persia: The Warrior Within & The Two Thrones, Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory, Rainbow Six: Lockdown and And1: Street ball. From 1993 up to 2002, Jean has produced several 2D/3D cinematic for documentary series such as “Anima” and “Oppression” aired on Télé-Québec, the visual effects of the soap opera “La part des Anges” aired on Radio-Canada, and a 2D/3D animated series “Dragon Wings” for FR3 (France). For nearly a decade, the studio has served prestigious clients such as Bombardier, Pfizer, Bristol Myers, Pratt & Whitney Canada, National Film Board, Johnson & Johnson, Bell Canada, Hydro-Quebec, etc.

Today, Jean and his team creates and produces CG animation projects focused on high quality with proven production strategies that save time and money. He engages the imagination of his partners to create projects with high commercial value, in developing and producing animated films supported by the most creative and experienced individuals in the industry.

Jean is a membre of the VFX Society, Bureau du Cinéma et de la Télévision du Québec (BCTQ) and Alliance Québec Animation (AQA).

Eric is the founding president of Ngenious Studio, Eric has been a leading expert in the world of animation and visual effects for almost 25 years. Over the years, he has been working on both artistic and technical aspects in many companies like Softimage, Moment Factory and Walt Disney Feature Animation in L.A., along with several other studios in Montreal and Toronto. Eric is recognized in the 3D animation world as a visionary visual effects supervisor and a technical director. 

Eric has worked on many Disney’s prestigious Animated Feature Films like Dinosaur, Tarzan, Treasure Planet and The Emperor’s New Groove. He also worked on Gnomeo and Juliette and most of the Animated Films recently produced locally in Montreal such as Leap, Snow Time and The Legend of Sarila. Not to forget is latest production at Ngenious Studio in Montreal, TROLL – The tale of a tail.

Benoit is co-founder of Ngenious Studio an IT professional with extensive and diversified technical expertise in the field of computer science in general. He is also a renowned specialist in designing environments specifically to improve production and quality control.

Manager of the Technical Laboratory at Autodesk Montreal (formally Discreet Logic) for more than 11 years, Benoit has supervised the technical needs at Supersuite Post Production Facilities for over 8 years. With a huge background that started in the mid 80’s at CBC in Toronto and Astral / Bellevue Pathé, Benoit is one of the most respected IT specialists in Quebec



Akira is the founding president of Sun Bridge Inc. She was born in Paris (France) from Japanese parents. She graduated from Paris 1 - Sorbonne University as a cultural mediation, ICT, and sound production double-major. She started her career as a sound engineer for “Fun Radio”, one of France most popular radio station.

In 2004,  Akira started as post-production coordinator at Chinkel-VSI, a post-production company specialized in dubbing for animation. Two years later, she joined TOEI Animation Paris, as Licensing and Production Manager.

It is in 2009  that Akira moved to Montreal (Canada) and became the head of international business development for Image Entertainment, a Canadian animation company. She left the company in 2012 to found Sun Bridge Inc. representation, business development, and consulting for private companies and public institutions looking for ways to create new ties between East and West, in the Animation, Film and Video games industry. In 2017, Akira was named President of the Quebec-Japan Business Forum.



François is a partner at Sun Bridge Inc. He was born in Paris (France) from Korean parents. He graduated from EMCA in Angouleme (France) as an animation major and started his career as first-assistant director at Timoon Animation, a french animation studio owned by Lagardere Entertainment.

In 2013, François was sent to Montreal (Canada), as first assistant-director on animation feature film “The Little Prince”. Two years later, he worked as assistant CG Supervisor on animation feature film “Ballerina” and in 2016 François was hired as VP of Development and Production at Zag Animation in Los Angeles, (California USA). He was the executive producer of a TV animation show “Miraculous Ladybug”, a two feature films development, one by Chris Columbus, and another with Kobe Bryant.

François joined Sun Bridge Inc. as Associate in 2018. He is also the writer and director of Sun Bridge Inc. first animation feature film “Ricky, the American Rikishi”.



JEAN-GUY DUMAS is a partner in the firm of Petrie-Raymond since 1986; he provides certification services and is a specialist in forensic accounting (litigation analysis and financial investigation). Over the years, he has accompanied and advised many companies wishing to proceed with an acquisition or merger. In addition, Mr. Dumas is now recognized as an expert negotiator. Bachelor of Business Administration (B.A.A.) at HEC Montréal (1975), Jean Guy Dumas joined Petrie Raymond's team in 1981. He has been a partner since 1986. Jean-Guy is a member of the Order of Chartered Professional Accountants of Quebec.

JOE SISTO (Entertainment Lawyer)

JOE SISTO received his B.C.L. and LL.B degrees (with distinction) from McGill University in 1998. He also received his Master of Arts degree in International Relations from McGill University in 1998 and his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science (with distinction) from Concordia University in 1993. Prior to establishing Sisto Entertainment & Business Law Services, Joe was a media & entertainment lawyer at one of Canada’s largest law firm. He has been credited as production counsel on over 65 motion pictures, television and home video productions. Joe has represented major Hollywood studios, film financiers in North America and Europe, independent producers, distributors, writers, actors, directors, composers and radio personalities.

JOE IACONO is a Professional Consultant in the film industry; Joe advises producers, financial institutions, financiers, equity investors, distributors and motion picture studios regarding financing, production and exploitation of motion pictures. Structuring of international co-productions, Canadian content and Foreign Service productions in Canada, Mr. Iacono provides full turnkey services for Telefilm Canada, Cavco, and SODEC Certifications. Joe Iacono is a member of the Order of Chartered Professional Accountants of Quebec.
